35 weeks today! Last weekend alone for the rest of our lives

WOW, we have hit 35 weeks today. I feel like we are at about 1 year. The boys seem to be growing so much my skin hurts and my stomach is so tight. Not very comfortable. Well, I sleep in 1 hour intervals (need to get used to this) so it will be nice to have the c-section and get them off of my organs and my back, I am sure the relief will be wonderful. Once we all get through the c-section this Wednesday AM, my mother will update the blog as I will be completely be out on pain medication and resting for at least 24+ hours. We will add pictures later.

Getting anxious and nervous, but I am told the surgery is pretty quick and I have read it is comparable to having your tonsils removed (it is done that much). It also hit me last night that this is the last weekend my husband and I have together alone for the rest of our lives. We are trying to make the most of the next few days. Well, I am pretty tired right now and can't wait to see the little ones. It will be a relief once everyone is through the surgery and we know how everyone is doing.

Wish us luck for an uneventful c-section and birthday this next Wednesday, August 1st.

Please keep the comments coming, they help me get through each day.

Great job Nik.
I am so proud of you. It is so amazing to me that in only 3 days we will be blessed with the three little ones. I can't wait to meet them face to face and help ease them into the world. These little guys are so lucky to have found their way into your life with you and that great soon to be daddy, Jeff.
You will be a wonderful family and the true pleasures of life are just starting for you.
I love you guys and want you to know I am here for you.
Three more days!
Tons of love
Mom (aka Nana in training, soon to be nana.)

I can't believe you made it to 35 weeks!! That is awesome. I saw your post on triplet connection...that's how I got your blog site. I have triplet boys too! Born Easter Sunday - April 16, 2006. It has been a crazy ride...but definitely worth it. I can say that I miss being pregnant and the whole delivery and in the hospital thing. I know you're ready to explode and probably feeling miserable...but soak up these last couple days. :) It's so sad when it comes to an end. Thanks for sharing your site!

Nicole & Jeff - Wow, you've made it! Three more days and, lo & behold, 3 babies!! I'm so excited, can't wait to see the little fellas. Thought of you guys today as I drove home from mom & dad's and passed the Lake Herman exit. As soon as I got home I checked the blog. Great picture - keep 'em coming. Since it's your last weekend before becoming a family of five maybe you should sweet talk the nurses into one of those new parent steak & candlelight dinners??? You two definitely have something to celebrate!! We'll be thinking of you on Wed. What time is the surgery?

Love to you,
Donna (Mike, Nick & Elliott, too)

Hi NIcole! You look very ready to go! Just a few more days, then you will feel a lot lighter!! Your boys will be in very good size by then, so you did such a wonderful job!

C-section was actually fun, since I simply did not feel anything. The recovery has been a bit tougher than I imagined, but I heard it all depends on indivisual too so I hope yours will be easier.

Hi Nikki,
I sent you a message yesterday but for some reason it didn't show up so here I go again.

I know I probably don't have to tell you, but... just a little reminder - take in every single moment, take in every little movement and cry from all 3 of your little boys, check out the expressions on Jeff's face, listen intently to your heart! It's such a blessing to have 1 child much less 3! Well, that is until they turn into teenagers and then you're in a whole new ballgame (haha)!

I'll be thinking of you tomorrow. I know you'll do just great and you'll have all the love and support you need with you at the hospital.

Taylor and I will be driving through on our way to Josh for his 24th birthday on Friday, so we'll stop by the hospital. As a matter of fact, Taylor is ready to give each one of them a little lesson on girls so we might be there awhile.

I love you and I'm so so proud of you!

May God bless your family with 3 healthy little boys tomorrow and help you with all the strength, love and patience you will need with them and each other. I can only imagine the excitement and nervousness you all must be feeling. Take one day at a time and remember to enjoy.

Night Nik,

Just in case you are restless and still checking your blog, Bill and I just wanted to wish you well tomorrow and know we will be thinking about you.
I bet you can't wait to finally hold your boys in your arms and kiss their tiny little faces, feet, hands, bellies.....

Much love,
Lis
