Update from last doctor's visit (26 weeks)

Went to the doctor's today to get my growth sonogram and everything looked good. The boys are now 2lb2oz, 2lb2oz and 2lb1oz. The amniotic fluid levels are equal and the heartbeats are strong/active (around 156 beats/min). My cervix length went back to 4cm so that was refreshing. Blood pressure good and no protein in the urine. We got some photos today. 2 profiles and one head shot (he looked right at us, what a cutie!). Can't wait to meet the boys.

The boys are getting stronger. My shirt really jumps when they kick or roll. They are strong solid kicks. I am convinced that at least one of them will play soccer. Our next growth sonogram is in 3 weeks (so 29 weeks in the pregnancy). We are taking it day by day, but my next milestone is 28 weeks. I will set another milestone at 28 weeks - it will be 30 weeks, then 32 weeks, then every day after that.

Update from last doctor's visit (25 weeks)

Went to the doctor yesterday to check my cervix length, amniotic fluid and heartbeats. The cervix length shortened a little to 3.5cm from 4.0cm. The doctor did not seem worried. We'll see next week when we have our growth sonogram. Blood pressure is good and no protein in the urine. So far so good. Really hoping we make it to 32 with little to no problems. Please pray for our little ones! The doctor said he would do a c-section at 36 weeks if we experience no problems. I can't imagine another 10 weeks. Ouch! I am going to be huge and uncomfortable. I will have to keep telling myself that this is only temporary. I will post next week, once we are done with the growth sonogram. Let's hope the boys are around 2lbs each.

Update from last doctor's visit (24 weeks)

Doctor's visit went well. Cervix length is 3.9 cm (it has be around 4 cm for the last couple of months), amniotic fluid is good and all heartbeats are in the normal range. The next growth visit will be at 26w3d. Cross your fingers that they are right on track at about 2 lbs each.

Just passed 25 weeks

Today we are 25 weeks and 1 day. Things are moving forward fine so far. I have another doctor's appointment next Tuesday to check my cervix length, heartbeats and amniotic fluid levels. I am starting to really get uncomfortable and my sciatica is really kicking it up a notch. Just trying to remain as comfortable as possible. The boys are kicking me pretty hard now and sitting on my bladder and other nerves that create a sharp shooting pain in my stomach. Ouch! It is pretty funny when I lay on my left and my right sides. The baby that is on the left or on the right start to kick me continuously probably because their 2 other brothers are on top of them and space is tight. Poor little ones. My husband and I are getting more and more excited each week. We can't wait to meet them. We pray every day that they are healthy and will make it through all of this. Once I figure out how to post pictures, I will. We do have belly photos of 4, 5 and 6 months. That is about it right now. Pray for our family to make it to at least 32 weeks!!

Moving towards 24 weeks

Went to the doctor's today and everything looks normal so far. The 3 boys are 1lb4oz, 1lb5oz and 1lb6oz so they are right on track. Our first major milestone will be this Saturday. That is when we will be 24 weeks. The next milestone after that will be 28 weeks, then 30 then 32. Anything after 32 will be a blessing. We are getting excited. We have started to get the nursery ready and have made it through 2 baby showers. Our last one is this Saturday, thank God. Finally got into the pool today and I felt as light as a feather. Once I got out, I felt like an elephant. I would love to live in the pool. Next check up is next Monday. Stay tuned!!
